Recap: Academy of Richmond County Musketeers vs. Glenn Hills Spartans
The Academy of Richmond County Musketeers lost against the Glenn Hills Spartans two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Academy of Richmond County fell just short of Glenn Hills by a score of 41-39.
Despite the loss, Academy of Richmond County still got an impressive performance from NaCja Johnson, who scored 21 points. Johnson scored a full 53.8% of Academy of Richmond County's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Amari Butler, who scored 7 points.
Academy of Richmond County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Glenn Hills, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Academy of Richmond County will head out on the road to face off against Evans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenn Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Warren County at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Warren County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday.
