After a string of four wins, Land O' Lakes's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steinbrenner Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13.

Courtney Tielli paced Land O' Lakes' offense, picking up six kills. Tielli got some help from Jada Christian and her eight assists.

Steinbrenner was led to victory by Emily Civitillo and Lexi Tschopp. Civitillo had five digs and two aces, while Tschopp had nine digs. That's the most aces Civitillo has posted over her last three contests.
