Football Recap: Morgan Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Morgan had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Ridgeline Riverhawks, falling 34-14.

Morgan's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of George Thurston, who gained 77 total yards and two touchdowns, and Cade Randall, who threw for 197 yards and one TD.

Ridgeline had a senior duo take command as Nate Dahle threw for 294 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73% of his passes and Graham Livingston picked up 176 receiving yards and three scores.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan will take on Sky View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgeline, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Park City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
