Football Game Preview: Pineville Rebels vs. Ouachita Parish Lions + How To Watch

Pineville is 0-9 against Ouachita Parish since November of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Rebels will face off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Pineville has given up an average of 41.7 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Pineville was beaten by Ruston 56-6. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Bearcats are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Ouachita Parish came up short against Alexandria on Friday and fell 28-21. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

Pineville will need to focus on slowing down Macario Dade Jr, one of several Ouachita Parish players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 144 yards and one score. Montrell Conner helped out on the ground, rushing for 99 yards.

Ouachita Parish's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pineville, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Pineville was dealt a bruising 49-13 loss at the hands of Ouachita Parish in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
