Caldera waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by  a  14-4 margin over the Summit Storm. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  15-0  two weeks ago.
 Elle Morton was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Izzy Allen, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Caldera  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in eight consecutive  matches.
Caldera's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-10. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Summit, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-1 record  this season.
