Volleyball Recap: Kettle Moraine Comes Up Short

Kettle Moraine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Nicolet Knights.

Despite the defeat, Kettle Moraine saw an underclassman step up: freshman Layla Mathias had 13 digs and one assist.

Kettle Moraine's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nicolet, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Kettle Moraine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Martin Luther on the 30th. As for Nicolet, they will welcome Whitefish Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
