Volleyball Recap: Desert Mirage Comes Up Short

Desert Mirage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Banning Broncos, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

Desert Mirage's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Banning, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Desert Mirage is set to take on their familiar foe Desert Hot Springs at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Banning will face off against rival Cathedral City at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
