Basketball Recap: Hancock Takes a Loss

Hancock lost a heartbreaker to Underwood when they met back in January of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Hancock Owls were dealt a 73-44 defeat at the hands of the Underwood Rockets. The loss continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now lost five in a row.

Hancock now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Underwood, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Hancock will challenge Ashby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Underwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 78-58 win against Parkers Prairie on the 6th.
