Basketball Game Preview: Hannibal Pirates vs. Moberly Spartans + Official Tickets

Hannibal is 2-8 against Moberly since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Pirates will be home for the holidays to greet the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Hannibal strolled past Fulton with points to spare, taking the game 52-37. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Moberly, as they earned their first away win of the season. They took down Salisbury 52-37 on Wednesday.

Moberly's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Hannibal, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Hannibal against Moberly in their previous matchup back in February, as the team secured a 66-25 win. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
