Basketball Game Preview: North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers vs. Walton Braves + Official Tickets

The North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers will head out to challenge the Walton Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

North Bay Haven Academy not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 6th (when they won 89-48). They put the hurt on North Sand Mountain with a sharp 92-68 victory.

North Bay Haven Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Josuel Cruz out in front who posted 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alan Forbes, who put up 19 points.

Meanwhile, Walton made easy work of North Sand Mountain last Friday and carried off a 62-39 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Walton had a senior duo take command as Kaden Fuentes went 6-for-10 en route to 18 points and seven boards and Camden Zodrow had seven points and three steals. Fuentes is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Daetyn Kee was another key player, putting up seven points and six rebounds.

Walton's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

North Bay Haven Academy couldn't quite get it done against Walton when the teams last played back in February as they fell 45-33. Can the Buccaneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
