Softball Recap: Western Guilford Takes a Loss

Western Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Southeast Guilford Falcons. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Western Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Southeast Guilford, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Western Guilford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-0 defeat against Northern Guilford on the 21st. As for Southeast Guilford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-3 victory against Wheatmore on the 19th.
