Volleyball Recap: Hoover Takes a Loss

Hoover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Reedley Pirates. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 15-25, 25-18.

Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Reedley, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Hoover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Justin Garza on the 25th. As for Reedley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Fresno on the 25th.
