Volleyball Recap: Cassville Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sarcoxie, Cassville was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pleasant Hope Pirates. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Cassville was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 20-25, 28-26.

Loraine Arciniegas and Brooklynn Keck certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Arciniegas had 23 digs, while Keck had 14 digs and three aces. Keck also posted an assist, marking her first of the season.

The win got Cassville back to even at 1-1. As for Pleasant Hope, they now have a losing record of 2-3-2.

Cassville has already played their next contest (against Clever), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pleasant Hope, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Ash Grove on the 9th.
