Softball Recap: Chicago Christian Takes a Loss

Chicago Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the St. Edward Green Wave, falling 9-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-10 last Tuesday.

Chicago Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Rashan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Chicago Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for St. Edward, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Chicago Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 27-0 loss against Bishop McNamara on the 5th. As for St. Edward, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-6 defeat against Wheaton Academy on the 5th.
