Basketball Recap: Foundation Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

Foundation Collegiate Academy lost against Mesivta last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mesivta Mustangs. The Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mesivta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shaked Ben-David, who posted 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Ben-David continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathanel Bitas, who earned ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Foundation Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Mesivta, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foundation Collegiate Academy will take on The City School at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mesivta, they and Mercy Career & Technical will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
