Basketball Recap: Heppner Comes Up Short

Heppner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 60-44 to the Enterprise Outlaws. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Outlaws this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-51 back in January.

Heppner's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Enterprise, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Heppner will be playing at home against Weston-McEwen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the TigerScots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 69.41 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Enterprise, they have already played their next matchup, a 54-52 loss against Stanfield on the 9th.
