Volleyball Recap: Excelsior Charter Comes Up Short

Excelsior Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lucerne Valley Mustangs.

Excelsior Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Lucerne Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

Coming up, Excelsior Charter will square off against University Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lucerne Valley, they will take on Lakeview Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
