Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Beach + How To Watch

Beach hadn't done well against Brunswick recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs strolled past the Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 67-51. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Jayce Jenkins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 75% from the field to rack up 27 points and seven rebounds. Those 27 points gave him a new career-high. Jordan Lambert was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 14 points.

Beach was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

Brunswick's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was AJ Levros, who posted 12 points and four blocks. Another player making a difference was DJ Jackson, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 11 points.

Beach's record now sits at 11-7. As for Brunswick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-4.

Beach has already played their next game, a 73-52 victory against Greene County on the 19th. As for Brunswick, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-58 win against Statesboro on the 17th.
