Baseball Recap: Cameron County Comes Up Short

Cameron County's last matchup with Elk County Catholic could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Wednesday. The Raiders lost 16-5 to the Crusaders. The Raiders have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Cameron County's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Elk County Catholic, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Cameron County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elk County Catholic, they will take on Clarion Area at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Crusaders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
