Soccer Recap: St. Joseph Academy Victorious

St. Joseph Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Mary's Episcopal Turkeys, sneaking past 3-2. St. Joseph Academy wouldn't have won without Morgan Papp, who scored the game-winner.

The win made it two in a row for St. Joseph Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matchups. As for St. Mary's Episcopal, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, St. Joseph Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Sevier County at 10:50 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Mary's Episcopal, they will take on Knoxville Central in a tournament on Saturday.
