Volleyball Game Preview: Dunbar Tigers vs. Golden Gate Titans

Dunbar is 0-4 against Golden Gate since September of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Titans at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dunbar will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating South Fort Myers, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolfpack on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Dunbar was: they took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Golden Gate beat Immokalee 3-1 on Tuesday.

Golden Gate had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-10, 25-13, 25-14.

The victory got Golden Gate back to even at 8-8. As for Dunbar, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
