Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Providence Hall

The Mountain View Bruins will challenge the Providence Hall Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Last Friday, Mountain View got the win against West Jordan by a conclusive 7-1. With the Bruins ahead 4-1 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting West Jordan from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Matthew Bryant led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Providence Hall, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against South Sevier on Saturday as Providence Hall made off with a 4-1 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

The win made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two games. As for Providence Hall, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
