Basketball Recap: Webster County Takes a Loss

Webster County was the 50-40 winner over Calhoun when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Webster County Highlanders were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 54-53 to the Calhoun Red Devils. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Webster County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Calhoun, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Webster County will welcome Tygarts Valley at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Calhoun, they will be playing at home against Wahama at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
