Moody faced Hewitt-Trussville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 9-6. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

The team relied heavily on Taylor Rogers, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Terry, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Moody has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.4 runs. As for Hewitt-Trussville, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moody will be taking part in a tournament against Horseshoe Bend at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they will challenge Vestavia Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
