Volleyball Recap: Greendale Takes a Loss

Greendale extended their losing streak to nine on Monday, dropping them down to 0-9. They lost 3-0 to the Burlington Demons. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Demons when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Xavier Zimmerman paced Greendale's offense, picking up five kills. Zimmerman got some help from Jakup Ademi and his ten assists.

As for Burlington, their record is now 11-9. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 22, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

John Sheperdson was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last 14 games.

Greendale has already played their next contest (against Martin Luther), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Burlington, they will face off against Waterford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
