Softball Recap: Lick-Wilmerding Comes Up Short

Lick-Wilmerding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Head-Royce Jayhawks. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Lick-Wilmerding's record now sits at 1-11. As for Head-Royce, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-8.

Coming up, Lick-Wilmerding will take on St. Joseph Notre Dame at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pilots will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Head-Royce, they will face off against California School for the Deaf at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
