Baseball Preview: Gettysburg Warriors vs. Bishop McDevitt Crusaders

The Gettysburg Warriors will head out to challenge the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Gettysburg will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Gettysburg barely beat Littlestown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors blew past the Thunderbolts 10-2 on Thursday. Considering the Warriors have won three games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt got themselves on the board against Camp Hill on Friday, but Camp Hill never followed suit. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Lions.

Not much got past Kayden Gelbaugh, who gave up just four hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Camp Hill off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jett Daugherty, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Vince Leoni also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
