Baseball Recap: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Independence Patriots

Copper Canyon proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 15) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Independence Patriots, sneaking past 6-5. The Aztecs haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Emmanuel Manjarrez Beltran was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
