Softball Recap: Clearview Triumphs

Clearview was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Garrett Morgan on Monday. Clearview put the hurt on Garrett Morgan with a sharp 22-7 victory.

Genesis Ruiz-Narvaez was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Ruiz-Narvaez is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Janessa Pagan was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Clearview's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Clearview will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Sandusky at 5:00 p.m. As for Garrett Morgan, they will head out to take on John F. Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
