Baseball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Mineral Ridge's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

Mineral Ridge's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the McKinley Red Dragons by a score of 10-6. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rams needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Jackson Geddes, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was AJ Sandy, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Mineral Ridge hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McKinley struck out ten times.
