Baseball Recap: De La Salle Takes a Loss

De La Salle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 19-3 to the St. Augustine Purple Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavalier of the 10-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

De La Salle's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for St. Augustine, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. De La Salle will head out to challenge St. Martin's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Augustine, they will square off against Warren Easton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Warren Easton their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
