Basketball Recap: St. Clair Takes a Loss

St. Clair lost against Southwest Christian back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The St. Clair Cyclones took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Christian Stars. While losing is never fun, the Cyclones can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Stars are ranked 57th).

St. Clair's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Southwest Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Clair will take on St. James at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest Christian, they will challenge Simley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Southwest Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
