Baseball Game Preview: Bartlesville Bruins vs. Union Redhawks

The Bartlesville Bruins will take on the Union Redhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bartlesville has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight defeats, while Union will come in with four straight victories.

Bartlesville fell victim to Collinsville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Union narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Coweta 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Redhawks have posted against the Tigers since March 4, 2016.

Union's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-17. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bartlesville, their loss dropped their record down to 16-15.
