Volleyball Recap: Daniel Extends Winning Streak to Six

Daniel entered their tilt with Seneca on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 4th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Daniel who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 16-25, 25-17, 24-26, 15-11.

Daniel can attribute much of their success to Kelsey Gosnell, who had 16 digs. Those 16 digs gave Gosnell a new career-high.

Daniel's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Seneca, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Daniel and Seneca will both be playing Berea the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bobcats will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
