One reason for the win was IMG Academy State's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 3.5 sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Aidan Garcia, Ian Reed, and Braylen Cooley, who each picked up one sack apiece. IMG Academy State got some further help from Garcia: he picked up a sack and made six total tackles (5.0 for loss).
