Soccer Recap: Eagle Point Victorious

Eagle Point barely beat Brookings-Harbor the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Bruins a 4-0 shutout on Saturday. That's two games straight that Eagle Point have won by exactly four goals.

The victory got Eagle Point back to even at 2-2-1. As for Brookings-Harbor, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle Point will take on Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Phoenix will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Eagle Point surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brookings-Harbor, they will face off against Marshfield at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
