Isaiah Vaca posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

Vaca's strong effort led Triton over Argos and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are 9-1 against the Dragons going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
