Volleyball Recap: Christian Brothers Academy Takes a Loss

Christian Brothers Academy lost against Freehold Boro back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Christian Brothers Academy fell 2-0 to Freehold Boro.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19.

Sean Kennedy paced Christian Brothers Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Kennedy got some help from Jake Tarzian and his 12 assists.

Christian Brothers Academy dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Freehold Boro, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when Christian Brothers Academy Colts take on Marlboro Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Freehold Boro, they will challenge Colts Neck at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
