Volleyball Recap: Thomas Worthington CARDINALS vs. St. Francis DeSales Stallions
After flying high against Grove City on Tuesday, Thomas Worthington came back down to earth. The CARDINALS came up short against the St. Francis DeSales Stallions on Thursday, falling 3-0. It was the first time this season that the CARDINALS let down their fans at home.
While Thomas Worthington was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into St. Francis DeSales' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-22.
Annabelle Morse paced Thomas Worthington's offense, picking up five kills. Morse got some help from Sydney Roberts and her ten assists. Ashley Shifflette controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
