Volleyball Recap: Thunderbird Takes a Loss

Thunderbird lost to Cactus Shadows back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0.

While Thunderbird ultimately came up short, they really made Cactus Shadows work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 26-24, 25-17.

Samuel Ashcraft paced Thunderbird's offense, picking up seven kills. Ashcraft got some help from Owen St Clair and his 13 assists.

Thunderbird's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cactus Shadows, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Thunderbird didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against St. Mary's on the 13th. Cactus Shadows and Camelback, As for Cactus Shadows, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th.
