Boiling Springs scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 101-91 to the Trinity Shamrocks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (64), the Bubblers still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Boiling Springs lost, don't look at Ethan Yenser. Despite the final result, he posted 25 points. Yenser is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Lucido, who had 20 points.

Owen Schlager continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Trinity, going 15 of 24 en route to 45 points along with five assists and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Schlager has scored at least a third of Trinity's points. Marcus Yeager was another key player, going 6 for 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight assists and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Boiling Springs and nudges their season record down to 13-7. As for Trinity, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Boiling Springs will square off against Big Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Big Spring's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. Trinity has already played their next contest (against Steelton-Highspire), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
