On Friday, PikeView took their matchup with ease, bagging a 52-20 victory over Roanoke Catholic. Considering the Panthers have won four contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

PikeView got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Peyton Mounts out in front who rushed for 198 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Mounts is becoming a predictor of the Panthers' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't). Braydon Mullins was another key back, rushing for 93 yards and three scores.

Meanwhile, Buffalo was able to grind out a solid victory over Meadow Bridge on Friday, taking the game 64-52.

Buffalo's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for PikeView, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
