Baseball Recap: Pitman Comes Up Short

Pitman was the 16-0 winner over Clayton when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 9-4 to the Clippers on Wednesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pitman's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-6. As for Clayton, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pitman will challenge Gateway Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clayton, they will take on Pleasantville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
