Aubry Dowling was a one-man wrecking crew for Mt. Vernon as she had 32 digs and two aces. Dowling is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season. Avery Delello was another key player, getting ten digs.
Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Mt. Vernon, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.
Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory will play host again on Wednesday to welcome Brownsburg, where is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Brownsburg will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Vernon, they will welcome Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Yorktown is coming into the contest with three straight losses on the road, meaning Mt. Vernon will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
