Softball Recap: Pleasant Spartans vs. Ridgedale Rockets
On Friday, the Pleasant Spartans made easy work of the Ridgedale Rockets and carried off a 14-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pleasant.
Kylie Eastep was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Eastep was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with a home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Hannah Miller was a standout: she went 4-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and a triple. Faith Staley was another key contributor, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
