Volleyball Preview: Wayne Trace Raiders vs. Allen East Mustangs        
        
		
             The Wayne Trace Raiders will venture away from home to  take on the Allen East Mustangs  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. Wayne Trace will be strutting in after a  win while Allen East will be coming in after a  loss.
 Allen East is hoping to do what Hicksville couldn't  on Tuesday: put an end to Wayne Trace's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Wayne Trace walked away with  a   3-1  victory over Hicksville.
 Wayne Trace had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-21, 25-21,  25-15.
 Wayne Trace's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Olivia Zartman, who  had seven  digs and 14  assists, and   Caroline Winans, who  had 18  digs and three  aces. That high mark didn't come from nowhere:  Zartman now  posted ten or more in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Wayne Trace  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 13  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in October of 2023.
 Meanwhile, Allen East came up short against  Indian Lake on Saturday, falling  3-0.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15,  25-9.
 Wayne Trace has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record  this season. As for Allen East, their defeat was  their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 4-10.
 Wayne Trace suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Allen East  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023. Can Wayne Trace avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
