While South Kingstown's victory against Portsmouth wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rebels sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Patriots on Thursday. South Kingstown have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Portsmouth, too.

Cole McCall and Chase Wolstencroft scored both of South Kingstown's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The victory got South Kingstown back to even at 1-1. As for Portsmouth, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
