Herington is a perfect 10-0 against Centre since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Herington Railroaders will head out on the road to challenge the Centre Cougars at 5:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Herington came up short against Elyria Christian and fell 38-30. The defeat continues a trend for the Railroaders in their matchups with Elyria Christian: they've now lost eight in a row.

Despite their loss, Herington saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Leslyn Kremeier, who posted 19 points and six steals, was perhaps the best of all. That's the most steals Kremeier has posted since back in December of 2023. Adrian Harrison was another key player, putting up four points and ten rebounds.

Even though they lost, Herington smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Centre got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They snuck past Wakefield with a 29-23 victory on Monday.

Centre picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-13. As for Herington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Herington strolled past Centre in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 40-26. Does Herington have another victory up their sleeve, or will Centre turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
