Football Recap: Philadelphia Comes Up Short

Philadelphia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 29-6 to the East Webster Wolverines. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2018.

Philadelphia's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Webster, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Philadelphia is taking a road trip to face off against Velma Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for East Webster, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Holly Springs at 7:00 p.m. The Wolverines will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
