Basketball Recap: Fremont Silverwolves vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks        
        
		
             Fremont suffered their closest  loss since December 20, 2023 on Monday. They fell just short of the Ridgeline Riverhawks by a score of  58-55. The Silverwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Riverhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in November of 2023.
 Despite the loss, Fremont still got an impressive performance from   Easton Duft, who  went 10 for 17 en route to 31 points. With that strong performance,  Duft is now averaging an impressive 18.8 points per game.  Zach Masters was another key player,  posting six points along with six  rebounds.
 Ridgeline's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Harrison Putnam, who  went 5 for 9 en route to 14 points. The dominant performance also gave  Putnam a new career-high in  assists (two). Another player making a difference was  Tyler Jackman, who  had 12 points.
 Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Ridgeline,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fremont will welcome Springville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Springville knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Fremont likes a good challenge. As for Ridgeline, they will host Judge Memorial Catholic  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Judge Memorial Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4  points per game  this season.
